Maiocco Patricia : ...born in 1958, she lives and works in Paris, France.
A graduate of the Sevres school of decorative arts, Patricia Maiocco explored numerous facets of artistic expression before becoming a painter. Indeed , she does not content herself with a perfect harmony of honeys and reds exuding wood but demands that we take a coser look. The eye then perceives the wealth of expressions intermigled with the nobility of her materials : paper, silk, gold leaf, India paper. The observer bends towards the painting , facinated by its magic. More than mere compositions, her works are like ancient mauscripts , precious , a memory of passing time to which we can never hold on.
